Small Bore Pipe Flow Measurement: The Clampflow

Flow Rate Measurement for Small Bore Pipes.

ClampFlow Flow Monitor

Uses:

The ClampFlow is a measurement system designed for flow rate measurement and control of solids conveyed in flexible hose lines.

The two criteria regarding the flexible hose lines: they are made from non-conducting material such as plastic and their maximum diameter 20mm.

The ClampFlow C:

"Measurement from the outside" by clamping the sensor around the pipe so the pipe does not have to be disconnected.

The ClampFlow P:

This is a "plug" version that means that both line ends are attached to the sensor inlet and outlet.

Function:

A homogeneous, high frequency electromagnetic field is coupled in the flexible hose. Solids being within this measuring field absorb the energy of this alternating field. This leads to a measurement signal proportional to the concentration of the material conveyed.

In addition there is a continuous flow velocity measurement by means of a correlation procedure.

Installation:

The ClampFlow is easily installed but within certain criteria for maximum performance. Contact the sales team to discuss your particular application.
